NC STATE FOOTBALL, TAILGATING, QB RUSSELL WILSON AND PRETTY GIRLS IN COWBOY BOOTS....CAN'T WAIT TILL SAT!!!

First of all, have ya missed me (narcissistic)? Its been over three weeks since I last blogged. With one daughter going back to college and the other starting high school, been busier than a one legged man at an ass kickin contest. Thank God football season is here and most important NC state plays sat at 6:00 pm against Western Carolina. Tom O'brien starts his fourth year at state with alot on the line. The first three years have produced only one bowl game (a loss) and three losing seasons, so this has to be categorized as a make or break season with at least a winning record and a bowl bid. State has one huge thing going for them this year, the return of all ACC QB Russell Wilson, fresh off being drafted in the fourth round by the colorado rockies (with a reported 250,000 signing bonus we know who's buying dinner on the road), will be starting his third year as a starter to go along with a solid running game and a improved defense it looks like a winning record is attainable. So Enough with the stats lets get to the good part, TAIL GATING AND GIRLS IN COWBOY BOOTS!!!. Where talkin brats, sausage and burgers and don't forget da beers and are you ready one more time GIRLS IN COWBOY  BOOTS (I PROMISE THAT'S THE LAST TIME I"LL SAY THAT, MY DAUGHTER IS GONNA SCREAM AT ME). Seriously, I look forward to seeing everybody out there this weekend (the weather is suppose to be great) and special thanks to my brother in-laws Chris and Pat lawson and to Kevin Cox  for hosting and providing alot of great food and beer to these events (they paid me to mention there names lol!!!).

NFL HALL OF FAME GAME, WE ALL SAY "THANK GOD ITS HERE"

As a sports fan in august one of the greatest and most meaningless games of the year is the NFL hall of fame game. Why you ask, because something other than baseball (which i love) is on the air. The july dead zone of baseball only, finally ends and the NFL begins. Which also means college football is right around the corner (first games begin on sep 2nd). What a first game to watch, the starting units play one or two series then after that all the future insurance salesman of the world that won't make the team play out the rest of the game. What a first game Dallas @ cincy, will T.O. have his first hissy fit because he had to come out in the first quarter. Did Jerry Jones have more plastic surgery!!!. We are sooooo boooored with this hotter than usual summer (uh oh Al Gore as we speak is malling a massage therapist saying "GLOBAL WARMING IS REAL !!!) That we will be on the edge of our seat because were so happy football is back. So take a deep breath my football starved fans only four more days (sun 8 pm et) till the pre season and then 4 more weeks till the regular season begins and more frequently annoying (I mean) riveting SCHABES ON SPORTS will come your way.       Stay thirsty my friends.........

CHICAGO BULLS GET BOOZER, MIAMI GETS SCOTTIE PIPPEN "Oops MY B" LEBRON JAMES!!!

For two years all you heard about around the league was the 2010 free agent draft. Lebum, Bosh, D Wade, Amare and the rest where going to reshape and change the balance of power in the NBA. So the Bulls thought, lets get Lebum James (still mad at him) and Chris Bosh to team with Derrick Rose and will win a bunch of championships and even forget about 23 and the six he won. So guess who we got everybody (TA-DAH) Carlos (I screwed the former blind Cleveland cavs owner and went to Utah) Boozer. Not a bad boooobee prize (get it) he's a consistant 20 and 10 guy with great inside scoring ability, but the bulls had gotten themselves thirty million under the cap and ended up at the end of the day being played. So lets recap where the big names ended up


1. Lebron James (not so mad anymore) Miami Heat: So called best player in the league now practicing to not take the big shot at the end of the game.

2. D Wade Miami Heat: Already got his ring, now he's got his crew, will still be taking the big shots. Lebrons happy.....

3. Chris Bosh Miami Heat: See a pattern here. I believe all along they new what up wit them (gangsta talk) can party in south beach till 4 am every night on this team.

4. Amare Stoudemire NY knicks: They'll still suck because they let David Lee go and gave this guy 100 mil not much difference.

5. Joe Johnson Atlanta hawks: 6 yrs 119 million. Holy shit was that stupid. The Bulls wanted him bad if bron and bosh fell through, probably offered somewhere in the 5 yr 80 mil range. Dudes gonna be makin 24 mil at age 34 in the last year of his contract.wtf.

6. David Lee Golden State warriors: perfect signing for Nellie (not the rapper).

So in the end the heat got loaded, the knicks got Amare and screwed by Lebron (poor Spike Lee), and the Bulls got boozed up and screwed by Lebum (mad again) bosh and Johnson. I know all you hoop fans will be watching even more this coming season with one thing on your mind, unless your a Miami heat fan you don't want to see them ever winning a title.................

DESPITE THE JAG BAG REFS, USA ADVANCES IN WORLD CUP SOCCER

In my home town of Chicago, one of my favorite sports radio guys (now on tv) is Mike North. He coined the term jag bag (I think you get the jist of it) when he refered to someone he didn't like, or was an a-hole in general. well lets apply that term to the two Jag Bag!!! refs that screwed us out of two goals, one each in the last two games.  The first ( the most talked about) was so intentionally called  in my opinion (USA hater) against Slovenia, I thought he'd  get the crap beat out of him right there on the field. The u.s. should have called a cop because of the two muggings that were taking place in front of the box by the slovenia defense where so blatant (as we speak robbers in Manhatten are watching the video to learn from it) they should have looked for weapons. I'll give FIFA credit, they dumped this p.o.s. from the next round and probably the rest of the tournament (go on back to your third world country and ref some sandlot games.....) so kudos to them. The second goal that was disallowed, was by the side referee who said u.s. player Clint Dempsey was offside as he scored from the left side of the net while the ref was standing all the way over on the right side. Replay clearly showed Dempsey waited perfectly before kicking what should have been the first goal of the game. Thank god in the extra time Landon Donovan scored the goal heard round the country and the goal that pissed off the rest of the"world". To the rest of the world (In your face....), to team u.s.a. good luck sat..........

Blackhawks win the Cup!!! 2 long droughts down 1 to go

Patrick (ain't tippin the cabbie) Kane delivered the biggest goal in 49 years off a tough angle (only he knew it was in) to win the Stanley Cup last wed in Philadelphia. It took the White sox 88 years to break their drought in 2005 and with the hawks first championship since 1961 in the books there's only 1 chicago team left with a small championship drought (let's guess together lol) drum roll please, the Chicago Cubs. 102 years and counting for the cubbies who lost last night to the mighty (not) Oakland A's 9-5. Cubs first basemen Derek Lee said they palyed like a A ball team last night (I think i've heard that comment before over the years, along with, they blew it in the ninth again) so it looks like will move on to year 104 in 2011 because its not happening in year 103 (2010).

   Let's finish today by getting back to the Blackhawks. I beleive the series changed in game 5 when big Buff (Justin Byfuglien) deceided not to get pushed around anymore by the flyers defensemen Keith Pronger and checked his ass into the boards a couple of times (wasn't the same after those hits) and scored two goals with two helpers (that's new age hockey talk dudes!). Let's hope Rocky Wirtz and the boys of Blackhawks ownership can keep the core of this team signed for a long time because with this much youth and talent they should win at least a couple more Stanley Cups!!!.  

THE TROOPS DEFENDING OUR FREEDOM, ARE THE REAL HEROES.

When I write a blog, I try to talk about a current sports topic in the news, with a little bit of insight, information, and humor. Today on this Memorial day I want to talk about the real heroes we should look up to, our men and women of our armed forces. As I write to you today our main battle is in the moutainous terrain area in Afghanistan, near the Pakistan border. Most of our young men and women in the battlefield aren't even old enough to enjoy a beer in the states like we will today during our barbecues or dinning out. While fighting the war on terror in full gear, in temperatures over 100 degrees this time of year, think about their bravery and dedication to freedom while your enjoying your family and friends on this most important day. All im saying is when you turn on your tv's today to watch your favorite sporting event, pause and reflect how lucky we are to live in the greatest country in the world and how lucky we are to have our troops defend our freedom from these terrorists each and every day and pray for their safe and victorious return......

BLACKHAWKS UP 2-0 AGAINST THE SHARKS!!!

"BREAKING NEWS" THE BLACKHAWKS JUST ANNOUNCED THAT THERE NOT LEAVING SAN JOSE AND DECIDED TO PLAY THEIR HOME GAMES ON THE ROAD.....   OK I'M FULL OF S@#T BUT THAT WOULD BE THE SMART MOVE ON THEIR PART. I THINK THE LAST TIME THE HAWKS LOST ON THE ROAD, OLD MAN WIRTZ WAS STILL NOT ALLOWING HOME GAMES ON LOCAL TV!!!   MY TAKE = THE HAWKS SPLIT AT HOME AND TAKE THE SERIES IN S.J. IN 5, AND THEN ITS ON TO THE STANLEY CUP FINALS WHERE THEY KICK THE FLYERS ARCE.

PS...   AS LONG AS TOEWS, KANE, AND HOSSA KEEP FLYING AROUND THE ICE, BYFUGLIEN DISRUPTS AND SCORES AROUND THE NET AND NIEMI, (WHO'S THAT GUY!?!!) KEEPS PLAYING GREAT IN GOAL, THE CUP COMES TO CHI-TOWN FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 1961 (HULL, MIKITA ETC.....).    ALSO...   BECAUSE THE POKER BOYS BUSTED MY ASS ABOUT TYPING MY BLOG IN CAPS, THIS WILL BE THE LAST TIME MY WORDS WILL BE IN YOUR FACEEEE, (BACK TO NORMAL, I GUESS....) I HAVE A HUGE COMPLAINT. WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE GET TIGER WOODS HIS OLD PORN STARS HOOKERS AND STRIPERS BACK FOR HIM, THE MAN OBVIOUSLY CANNOT PLAY GOLF WITHOUT THEM. THE GOLF CHANNEL WAS CHOMPING AT THE BIT TO HAVE TIGER WOODS PLAYING HIS ENTIRE ROUND OF GOLF ON THEIR STATION ALL AFTERNOON, AND WHAT DID THEY GET, A SEXUALLY FRUSTRATED DUDE IN NEED OF A FOURSOME, ONLY I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT GOLF. HE LOOKED MORE SEXUALLY FRUSTRATED THAN I DO WHEN THE VIAGRA DOESN'T WORK. HE SHOT A FREAKIN 79, HECK I EVEN SHOT A 79 (OK IT WAS AN 84 AND I TOOK A FEW MULLIGAN'S LOL).
